I used to think about you
and the ink explosions that
would flood my paper.

But, I can't think about you
or the ink explosions
that never happen.
Not now. Not anymore.

The difference is time
and time caused the change
between the two of us.

We became a part
of the past
that we never wanted
but had to have
anyways.
